Strum that chord... The Bitch Wont Burn!

About Me

HMMM.... WHERE TO BEGIN? HOW BOUT WE
START OFF WITH THE SOUND THESE GUYS PRODUCE.
THE SOUND THAT THEY MAKE IS UNUSUAL.
THEY BRING A POPPY MELODIC VOICE
AND MELD IT OVER HEAVY GUITAR RIFFS WITH
BIG DRUMS AND BASS THAT TIGHTENS EVERYTHING UP.
SCREAMING IS THEN ADDED TO SHOW HOW THE MUSICIAN WAS FEELING DURING
THE PROCESS OF WRITING EACH SONG.
HIS FEELING WERE USUALLY ANGER BECAUSE
OF GETTING HURT BY SOMEONE HE LOVED...
EACH MEMBER OF THE BAND BRINGS DIFFERENCES TO EACH SONG.
THE SINGER GUITARIST LIKES TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING GOES HIS WAY BUT
CANT HELP IT IF THE DRUMMER OR BASSIST THROW IN A GOOD IDEA.
WHEN THAT HAPPENS THE THREE OF THEM TRY TO MIX IDEAS.
THE THREE MEMBERS HAVE BEEN FRIENDS SINCE MIDDLE SKOOL AND
NEVER EVEN THOUGHT OF STARTING A BAND.
BEFORE THEY WOULD PLAY WITH ACTION FIGURES AND RIDE SCOOTERS.
THE THREE OF THEM THEN GREW MORE IN HIGH SKOOL.
THATS WHEN IT ALL BEGAN.
THE GUITARIST THEN DECIDED HE WANTED A HOBBY THAT WAS ENJOYABLE.
HE LOVED LISTENING TO BANDS LIKE
BLINK
FINCH
FENIX TX
THE USED
AND THE LIST GOES ON.
HIS BIGGEST INSPIRATION TO WRITE MUSIC
AND PLAY GUITAR WAS POP PUNK GOD TOM DELONGE.
EACH MEMBER OF TOKYO STATIC ALL LOOKED UP TO BLINK ALOT.
THATS WHEN THERE FIRST BAND THE CORNER KIDS WAS DEVELOPED.
NONE OF THE MUSIC WAS REALLY
SERIOUS UNTIL WALLY JOINED A BAND CALLED
LASTING IMPRESSION.
LEAVING CORNER KIDS, WALLY WANTED TO PURSUE WITH HIS NEW BAND.
HE DID GOOD WITH THOSE GUYS AND HAD A ALOT OF FUN.
THAT WAS UNTIL THE BAND BROKE... WALLY WAS DEVASTED.
HE LOVED BEING A FRONTMAN.
BUT HE LOOKED AT IT AS MORE OF A BEGINNING THAN AN ENDING.
HE THEN JOINED HIS FELLOW BAND MATES FROM CORNER KIDS.
AND TOLD THEM HOW HE FELT.
HE WANTED TO WRITE MUSIC AND GET IT OUT TO THE PUBLIC LIKE HE DID WITH LASTING IMPRESSION.
THEY WANTED TO START TAKING IT MORE SERIOUS AS WELL.
WALLY NEIL AND ERIC THEN STARTING
WRITING NEW MUSIC THAT WAS FULL OF MORE FEELING
IN IT THEN THERE PAST BAND.
THEY NEEDED A NEW NAME FOR THERE NEW MUSIC.
NO LONGER GOING BY CORNER KIDS THE THREE FRIENDS FORMED TOKYO STATIC.
THE MUSIC
WAS GOING WELL FOR THE TRIO BUT THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS THEY HAD MEANINGLESS LYRICS.
ALL THE LYRICS WERE BASED ON HOW A BOYS LIFE IN ROMANCE MOVIE WOULD BE.
WITH MEANINGLESS LYRICS WAS A BAND WITH NOTHING TO SAY.
LATER ON DURING THE PROCESS OF TOKYO STATIC,
WALLY WAS INTERESTED IN A GIRL NAMED
NATALIE.
SHE NEVER FELT THE SAME WAY AS HE DID.
THAT WAS WHEN THE LYRICS STARTED TO GAIN MEANING.
WALLY WAS GETTING HURT WICH WAS HORRIBLE YET GOOD.
HORRIBLE FOR WALLY TO GO THRU THAT PAIN YET GOOD FOR
TOKYO STATIC BECUZ THE BAND NOW HAD MEANING AND HAD SOMETHING TO SAY.
THEY WERE TRYING TO SAY THAT THINGS DONT ALWAYS GO YOUR WAY. KEEP TRYING.
WALLY WAS PERSISTENT AND FINALLY GOT WHAT HE WANTED.
NATALIE REALIZED SHE LOVED WALLY FOR WHO HE WAS AND THEY STARTED DATING.
AFTER A LONG BEAUTFUL YEAR THE TWO ENDED IT ON A BLUE NOTE...
NOW NO LONGER TALKING MUCH TO HIS FIRST LOVE
WALLY STARTED WRITING HIS BEST MATERIAL.
HE WRITES BEST WHEN WORRIED
OR UNDER STRESS CUZ IT RELEAVES HIM TO
YELL AND SING HIS FEELING RATHER THAN TALK TO A SHRIK.
MUSIC IS LIKE
THIS BANDS THERAPY.
ANYWAYS WITH NATALIE OUT OF THE PICTURE THE LYRICS
WERE THE ALL CONSTRUCTED WITH WALLYS THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS ABOUT HER.
WITH SONGS SUCH AS
"NATALIE SAYS SO"
"BROKEN BOY",
"THE BITCH WONT BURN",
AND "SICK TO MY STOMACHE"
TOKYO STATIC HAS MADE IT QUITE CLEAR
ON HOW A GIRL CAN AFFECT A BOYS MIND.
BECUZ OF NATALIE TOKYO STATICS LYRICS STARTED GAINING
MORE EMOTIONS THEN BEFORE.
WALLYS HEAD WAS SPINNING WITH THOUGHTS
THAT HE JUST HAD TO PLACE ON PAPER.
ITS FLATTERING TO THE TRIO WHEN SOMEONE
COMPLIMENTS THERE MUSIC.
THEIR MUSIC IS WHAT ONE MUST LISTEN TO
WHEN THERE HEART IS BROKEN OR DEPRESSED OR ANGRY.
IT HELPS THE MIND.
JUST KNOW YOUR NOT ALONE AND EVERYONE GOES THROUGH
THE SAME SHIT.
EVERYONE IN THE BAND CAN RELATE TO THEIR MUSIC.
THEY ALL TAKE PRIDE IN THERE ART.
DRUMS THAT ARE TECHNICAL.
HEAVY GUITARS
SCREAMING THOUGHTS
SINGING EMOTIONS
AND TIGHTENED BASS
GIVES THE BAND THERE SOUND.
THEY WOULD LIKE TO THANK
EVERYONE WHO COMES
OUT TO THE SHOWS EVERYONE WHO INSPIRES THEM,
AND ALL THE GIRLS THAT BROKE THERE HEARTS,
CUZ WITHOUT THEM WE WOULD HAVE NO REASON
TO SPILL THEIR WORDS THE WAY THEY DO....
"BREAK OUR HEARTS AND WELL MAKE IT UP TO YOU"-wally
WE LOVE EVERYONE OUT THERE WHO BELIEVE IN US...
YOU GUYS ARE THE ONES WHO MAKE US KEEP GOING
