Music:

Summer of '69 by Bryan Adams is most certainly the greatest song of all time! Yes, I realise that is an extremely massive call to make but consider...
The constant pounding beat is ideal for jumping around, the lyrics are foolproof for singing aloud at the pub, the storyline is fantastic for some killer actions like the sprinkler, and the guitar solos create perfect opportunities to bring out the air guitar and act like a total retard!
Absolute GOLD!

Movies:

One of my favourite films of all time would have to be Shawshank Redemption simply because it is filmed so beautifully. The cleverly crafted scenes paint a great picture and truly capture the essence of the characters. Also Morgan Freemans narration takes the viewer on a beautiful journey of hope towards freedom. Other movies in my top drama list would include; The Hurricane, Remember the Titans, Million Dollar Baby, The Downfall and The Departed, which all completely shattered my preconceived ideas about what makes a good movie. On the other half of the spectrum for romantic comedies you can not go past Perfect Catch with Drew Barrymore and Jimmy Fallon which has a fantastic soundtrack, some extremely hilarious scenes and great lines! A great one for those suckers for happy endings.

Television:

Don't really watch TV anymore although I do often quote The Simpsons which you must admit relates to every single life scenario! It has taught me that…*You don’t win friends with salad but if you leave a bribe on the table and turn your back everyone will be happy! *The only thing separating us from the animals is our ability to weasel out of things; however this does not distinguish us from the weasel. *You can’t trust the President of Cuba with a trillion dollar bill. *The lesson of failure is never to try. * Following a turtle in a chili induced hallucination is not worth the disappointment. *Accidentally running over a Judges dog is not helpful in a court case especially when you replace “accidentally” with “repeatedly” and “dog” with “son.”Absolute Classic!
