About Me

Well, where do I start? Ok, at the beginning I guess (but I will be brief)!!

I was born in south London in the early 80s but moved to the south coast at a young age, with my family, and have lived in/around Southampton ever since.I like it down here - it's nice, not too manic and conveniently placed for business in London as/when needs be. I admit, it's a little close to France for my liking but you can't have everything. Don't get me wrong, I'd like to see the world but for the time being, I'm staying put!!So, moving on, I did the 'fairly' compulsory infant/junior/senior school thing and met some truly awesome, lifetime friends (although I really must make more effort to keep in contact with them.... sorry guys/gals).They say that your school years are the best days of your life and, at the time, you're like 'yeah whatever' but seriously I had a ball at school - for me it was like an 11 year social club. After school I went to college and studied some horrendous subjects: maths and physics - and that's all I'll say about that!!I opted out of any higher-education because frankly, and without wanting to offend anybody, I really had a burning desire to get into the real-world and, for the career-path I was going down, Uni would have been a total waste of time/money.So, in 2001 I set-up an audio production / media company (Studio24 - www.audio-production.co.uk) and the rest, as they say, is bulls**t..... I mean history!!Na seriously, audio/media/audio/technology is all I've ever had an interest in and so, from a ridiculously early age, I knew where I wanted to go and I'm grateful for the opportunities that life has given me.Christ, it's quite frightening when I can 'sum-up' my entire life up in less than 300 words!!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Up-and-coming singers / songwriters - I'm always on the lookout for talented artists to work with and develop so get in touch if this you!!I'd also like to meet Fearne Cotton!!

Music:

Anything and everything (except jazz - I HATE jazz! Actually, let me quantify that - I hate the kind of jazz that sounds like 10 guys are playing 10 different things at the same time....!!!). With the work I do, I have to stay up-to-date with what's happening musically although my main passions music-wise are commercial R&B / pop/R&B / pop/dance and this sort of thing. I appreciate music in about a million different ways (production / composition / arrangement / artist.... am I boring you?). I've never really been massively into underground stuff.

Movies:

The Krays / RoadTrip - 2 completely differnet movies both equally loved

Books:

I'm a 'non-believer' in books - my Philosophy "if it's any good, they'll make into a movie"

Heroes:

Cadbury's miniature.....
