About Me

A new edge of sound was born over a decade ago by the name of Brad Phillips. His sounds fused influences such as U2, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, and even Johnny Cash. The conception of this blend became the muse of Brad's music. Brad Phillips is the vocalist, songwriter and guitarist. He has been perfecting these self taught talents since the age of fifteen. His need for more substance, better sound, and the art of stage presence has led him to step away from the American Idol of today and forge his own musical path. Brad takes his cue from his many influences, but he yearns to step way and make his own noise. With words and images, Brad provides the canvas on which the music paints its picture. Brad Phillips has grown to become a much needed alternative to the alternative. Taking his tastes, influences, and experiences, Brad offers a musical diversity to be reckoned with. In a radio friendly world of bubblegum hype, brand names and pretty faces, his music will continue to define itself as what music should be, by moving your heart, mind and body. In Brad's eyes, the meaning of music is still the reason to sing.
