About Me

Swell Guy.
OK, I guess I'll add a bit here...but honestly, I friggin' hate talking about myself. I feel like a goddamn salesman...I mean, I really do think I'm a pretty swell guy (most of the time), and would even go so far as to consider myself a 'catch' (not really). But in general, the idea of talking myself up to anyone kinda freaks me out, like there's something inherently egotistical about it, and so I try not to think about how I'm appearing to other people (which is a huge lie; I am WAY self conscious in social situations, though I'm told I hide it well).
I figure a better way to get to someone is to actually egage them in conversation, or I guess you could read my journal entries...if I ever write them...

I love Achewood.
Not the drink, though.
Also, I've played with some bands:
First, it was Captains of Industry (né The Widow Jones Band).
Then came The Long Emergency .
Most recently, I've joined The Rikters out here in Chicago. My goal is to get us out to NYC by the end of the year...check us out!
That's all for now.

We make plans for one another, and then we feel better about ourselves.

What do I mean by this? I thought of it while watching a scene from the latest episode of the Sopranos, wherein an evangelical guy is speaking with Tony in the company of Chris, Eli and Eli's wife. Wh...
