I am currently living between Bangkok and Pattaya
in Thailand and I work from a private studio
not a shop front. My work is appointment only
and I take time over what I do so I never see more than
two clients a day, I also travel to my clients to tattoo them
in their own surroundings wherever in the world they maybe.
I have always been into customizing things and now I customize people. When friends saw me airbrush they always said the same thing
"You should be a tattoo artist."well on a trip to Thailand two years ago I got the chance to try my hand and
I have never looked back, Tattoo is everything to me when I have a machine in my
hand there is balance in my life. Every time I work I learn something new
and every time I look at the work of others my respect for my fellow artists
grows, I aspire to be better than my last tattoo every time I pick up a
machine because of this.
I have always been able to draw creatively in any medium and my work has
always had a dark edge to it. I started working as an artist in 1990 when I
was racing Moto-Cross in the UK, all of the top guys had airbrushed crash
helmets and I couldn't afford one, but I could afford an airbrush so in
early 1990 I turned up with a psychedelic lid with palm tree's and killer
clowns painted on it!!
From there I painted many helmets learning as much as I could about the
process and materials and trying to be the best I could be. I painted
Jet-Ski's, Van's, Bike's, Guitars you name it I decorated it even a
Lamborghini Countach.Devilbiss Airbrush in the UK took me on as a demo
artist and I demonstrated their airbrushes for them at the International
Airbrush exhibition in 94.
In 1995 I went to Mickey Sharps and bought a tattoo machine power supply
and some inks, practiced on pig skin and then had a go at my leg, I put a 2 inch
trench down my thigh and sold the equipment to the local tattooer next day.
Then I started on mobile phones in 1997 and painted phone covers for London
Fashion week. Louis Vitton, Red or Dead and Jimmy Choo were a few of the
designers that I produced covers for, I still did my dark stuff bike tanks
etc.
All the time I was airbrushing friends and family etc said the same thing"you should be a tattoo artist". In 2004 I got the chance under proper
supervision and completed my first tattoo's. Over the last two years I have researched and worked with the same dedication that I applied to airbrush to perfect my tattoo skills and I am pleased with the results. I keep learning and put the same dedication into every tattoo I do, and I love what I am doing and achieving, but I want to let you be the judge of my work, if you like it then lets hook up and do some ink
