Dee

DeAnn "Dee" Gonzales was born and raised in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Her earliest memories reveal her love for music and during her teenage years she started singing in various church choirs and bands. In 2001 she became lead vocalist in a local Hip-Hop group and soon thereafter she became the lead vocalist for a local Alternative-Rock band. During the next few years she would perform throughout New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, Colorado, California and traveled as far as Johannesburg, South Africa. This is when she began to write and compose songs.
In 2006, Dee started working with Jeff Mettling of the band Elu. A successful artist and producer, he began producing her album. In addition to her solo album, she has become vocalist for Elu on the Beautiful Things album due out August, 2007. Elu has already received recognition on Billboard for their song Lose Control. Elu has just signed a non-exclusive licensing deal for all releases to be included in a movie and media licensing library available to major movie producers and advertising agencies world wide. Elu releases have reached the top 40 on the internets top music sites. They have recently begun rehearsals for their live shows to begin late summer 2007.See the video's for Sweet Possession and Wicked Lullaby to the left.
Dee is always working on new material so keep checking back for updates. She is also working the sets of various films in and around Albuquerque so keep an eye out for her on the big screen!(see below)
