Ian Ethan Case EPK

New Hampshire native Ian Ethan Case began practicing and composing on the piano at age five, and expanded his study over the next several years to include drumset, saxophone, guitar, and electric bass. After self-producing his first CD "Ascendant" and studying at the Berklee College of Music, he discovered the double neck acoustic guitar as a natural vehicle for sharing his multi-layered, band-inspired compositions in a live solo setting.
Case's sound comes from a wide variety of highly original playing techniques that take full advantage of 18-strings, two fretboards, and his experience as a drummer, guitarist, bassist, pianist and composer. The resulting musical performance--a dynamic interplay of multiple overlapping melodic lines, rich expansive chords, and complex percussive rhythms-- is as visually intriguing as it is inspiring to listen to.
