About Me

I am 24 years old, 6'5" tall with ash-blonde hair & green-ish eyes. I hail from the human-dumping ground otherwise known as sheffield. I am quite an introvert person, but, by no stretch of the imagination does that mean that I feel a) hard done to. b) mad at my parents for any reason, or c) like harming myself in any way.
I say this because one of my major dislikes is the emergence of the,so-called, EMO-rocker; people who dress like boy band rejects with painted nails going on about how they hate their parents & how much they want to kill themselves.
I have a girlfriend- Karla. She is the most amazing person I have ever met. She's smart, funny and extremely beautiful (she pretends she isn't but I know she knows it).
I used to play guitar for the band DETERIUM. I have been playing since I was 15 and I'm one of the founding members of the band.
My nickname is big dan because of my height, not very original but it could be worse.
I am a big animal lover (remove that thought you perv) I have 4 dogs and the best pet in the world: my chinchilla-DILLON (he's awesome).
I am a massive football fan & I play in a 5-a-side league which I use, mainly, as an excuse to knock people around for an hour (you'd be surprised how therapeutic that can be).
On the whole I'm an honest, easy going, no-shit person and I will always be honest and up front with anyone and all I ask in return is that you return the sentiment!!!

Movies:

I have no favourite films (too many to choose from) but I'll give some examples of what I like. I love epics most of all e.g, Braveheart, gladiator, troy.
Lord of the rings, rambo trilogy, ghostbusters 1&2, m. night shayamalan's collection, friday trilogy, casino, all tarrantino's films except reservoir dogs(boring), Jet Li films, independance day, the hunted, jurassic park trilogy, etc.
My favourite actors include: Mel Gibson, Tommy Lee Jones, Jeff Goldblum, John travolta, Samuel L. Jackson, George clooney & Nic Cage. I also enjoy watching movies with Jessica Biel, Rachel Weisz, Kate Beckinsale, Charlize Theron in them for an entirely different reason.

Television:

Magnum P.I,The A-team, mythbusters, american chopper (pretty much anything on discovery), cow n chicken, spongebob squarepants (patrick's fuckin' ace), ed, edd n eddy, dog the bounty hunter, cops, street crime u.k., crocodile hunter, anything with David Attenborough, father ted, men behaving badly, only fools & horses, blackadder, vicar of dibley, monty python, two ronnies, smith & jones, hale & pace(what happened?), harry enfield, the fast show, etc.

Books:

The hobbit, lord of the rings, etc. Not really much of a reader but I do when I can be arsed to.

Heroes:

There are NO heroes, only villains with greater or lesser degrees of evil. so called 'heroes' are actually only out for attention which they gain by doing less evil than everyone else!!!
