Visit WWW.AARONWOODLEY.COM and WWW.TWILIGHTFILMS.COMBorn and raised in Toronto, Canada, Aaron began his film pursuits at the age of seven studying the techniques of animation at the Art Gallery of Ontario under the guidance of Academy Award winning animator, Eugene Fedorenko. And at age ten, Aaron shot his first live-action film.He continued his studies at York University in Toronto where he wrote, directed and edited numerous films, including the award winning, "Pipe Dreams".After graduation, Aaron worked as an editor on commercials, television programs, music videos, short films and three feature length films, receiving two Gemini nominations (the Canadian Emmy). As well as working as an editor, Aaron also worked as a stop-motion animator on shows for Disney, Alliance-Atlantis, CBS, Cuppa Coffee Animation, and as a television writer for Alliance/Atalntis. As a founding member of the Paulus Film Group, Aaron directed several music videos and three award-winning short films - "The Wager", "Bed & Breakfast" and "Downpour".His feature film debut, "Rhinoceros Eyes", made its premiere at the 2003 Toronto International Film Festival, where it won the coveted Discovery Award. The film stars Michael Pitt ("Last Days", "The Dreamers") and Gale Harold ("Queer As Folk").Aaron's next film, "Tennessee" is produced by Lee Daniels ("Monsters Ball", "The Woodsman") and stars Mariah Carey. "Tennessee" will be followed by "Drone", produced by Joel B. Michaels ("Lolita", "Terminator 3") and executive produced by David Cronenberg.
