Are we trigger happy?

About Me

I'm a journalist, I guess - even though I hate what the term has come to represent. I've got a thing for Middle East politics so if anything of interest comes up (that is; if you stumble upon an interesting website or a blog or an article on MidEast, if you live there, if you're an "insider" and could offer some insight, if you want to be interviewed for one reason or another etc.), please, feel free to contact me. I'm also into good ol' metal music :)

My Interests

Travelling, reading books on Middle East, listening to inspiring music, being introduced to new sounds and re-discovering "old" ones. How original.

Returning to the Land of Early

It's Sunday morning, I don't have to go to work and I'm planning my journey to that corner of the world where everything happens early; people get married early, they have their first child early, th...

Mohammed's back home

Mohammed spent three months in the UK, trying to get a job, a life, a state to call home. But of course, when you're labeled "stateless", you can't get any of these things. So, after spending those th...
