In Feb of 2007 we anonymously added our 1000th friend on myspace. That friend was Tracy Shapiro from Chicago. We got to meet Tracy at our show at O'Malley's in Chicago. She's so cool & a serious Metallica fan too! Find Tracy on our top friends.
In March of 2007 at RPM's in Pittsburg, we got to meet NHL Hockey goalie Ken Wreggett from the Pittsburg Penguins & Toronto Maple Leafs. Ken came on stage with us & did a shot of Jager with the band. He autographed a Penguins jersey for "BATTERY" but we lost it the next day when our trailer doors flew open while driving across I-86 in NY State. We lost Ren's suitcase,
JJ's mic stand, Laurence's briefcase and the autographed Jersey! That Sucked!
In May of 2007 we got this myspace message from a US Army Tank Commander named Demian who saw us at Club LaVela in Panama City Beach Florida.
Message begins:
Battery,
Wanted to thank you one more time for the show you performed at LaVela this past Saturday and for having me backstage afterwards. It was a great night, myself as well as my brothers in arms and our wives had a fucking awesome time. Believe me when I say that with all the things we do to defend freedom and this country it's guys like you that give us a chance to kick back, get noisy and rock the fuck out. Thanks again gentlemen. Seek and Destroy!

"Let me not mourn for the men who have died fighting, but rather let me be glad that such heroes have lived. If it be my lot to die, let me do so with courage and honor in a manner which will bring the greatest harm to the enemy, and please, oh Lord, protect and guide those I shall leave behind. Give us the victory, Lord." -General George S. Patton
