The Outlaw Corn is a local chapter of The Metallica Club serving the U.S. states of Nebraska, Iowa and Missouri. Our goals include promoting Metallica and The Metallica Club in the Midwest. We also offer our members (lovingly referred to as "The Children of the Corn") exclusive chapter merchandise and the opportunity to expand their Metallica collections with rare memorabilia.
The Outlaw Corn gathers quarterly for "Eat and Greets"; get-togethers to celebrate the latest Metallica release and/or discuss chapter-related items. Attendance and participation will be rewarded via credits which can be redeemed for Metallica prizes galore!
The Outlaw Corn also has a separate members-only site. There, members have an exclusive forum to discuss Metallica, chapter news, music, current events and whatever else. Never-before-published photographs and other special content is also free to The Children of the Corn.
Membership is limited to Metallica Clubbers residing in the states of Nebraska, Iowa and Missouri. To join The Outlaw Corn, drop us a line via MySpace. If you not yet a member of The Metallica Club and would like more information, cruise on down to their membership registration site . For a chance to win super cool Metallica stuff, note member number 1064 when enrolling.
In brief, The Metallica Club was established late in 1993 and is run by the band. Members of The Metallica Club enjoy a subscription to SO What, a quality magazine that goes way beyond what you read on the newsstand shelf. Clubbers also get a stab at backstage passes and "members-only" gigs. Exclusive contests and merchandise are also available to MetClubbers.
