Bi Tribune : Volume 4, Issue 1
I was part of the organizing committee for the 9th International Conference on Bisexuality. As a result we won the "Bi Visibility Award" from BiTribune and were featured on the cover and on page 10.
Modeling:
Note: I disagree STRONGLY with the modelling world. The attitudes of models are a joke and the demands of the industry are unruly and most of all unhealthy on a physical, physological and emotional level. Please only model if you are being respected and they are interested in your look ... not how they 'want' you to look. Don't be a Zoolander - "Dance Monkey - Dance!"
Bent on Quitting : Spokes Model
As a bisexual ex-smoker (although I have relapsed since) I was asked to be a model for the queer targeted quit smoking program in Toronto.
Miss Behavin' : Window Model
This is too fun and you get free merch! As a sexual being this was right up my alley yet felt quite safe and "behind glass". Not too mention all the fun outfits you get to wear!
Xtra : Out on the Street Feature
Just a little feature section that Xtra does profiling someone new every issue. I took it as hey gals... new meat!
Television:
Sex, Toys & Chocolate : Guest
This was a ball! I was on for the entire episode where they fed us, gave us alcohol, chocolate and gave us a great goodie bag from the Stag Shop. Well worth having a fake orgasim on national television.
Queer As Folk : Extra
Besides more street scenes than I can count, when you see Rosie O'Donell on the show look for me behind her.
Movies:

I got to dress up in 50's gear and scream at Kevin Bacon in car down an airstrip in Brampton all day. Just call me "Crazed Female Fan #3".

Yes please!!! Indie has my heart. I like the darker side of music but a happy track is great too. Anything from the late 40's up... I'll give it a chance. (Heavy is good though)

Movies:

I hate crappy love stories and anything "fast" or "furious" ... bleh!I do LOVE movies though ... WAY better than TV. Give me a story/idea and time to develop it.

Television:

Prefer not to watch other people living life and to go out and live it myself... but a little Jon Stewart never hurt anyone. (or L word for that matter!)

Books:

When I find time... big fan but not limited too Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles and *blush* Harry Potter

Heroes:

Bettie Page, She-Hulk, Wonder Woman, Myself (I try!), Mom, Johnny Somebody, Pootie-Tang, anyone who fights for what they want dispite life's obsticles
