About Me

This is the myspace music page for aspiring dj Jerome Gilbert aka Trance Armstrong. (The rap beats in the player are just a joke). My DJ gear consists of a Denon DN-X100 Mixer and 2 Pioneer CDJ 200s.I play a wide variety of EDM but mostly techno, tech-house, house, some trance and deep house as well. Electro is all good too, the more it sounds like it came from the 80s the better. I hate that "new" electro house that is shitty farty bassline and no soul.I am hoping soon to have some mixes recorded and up for download. Until then, my top friends list and my charts are a good idea of the music I am spinning at the moment. I am trying to get my name out there in Chicago, please contact me here or [email protected] for any DJ bookings / club events / parties / openings.

I've been listening to trance for years, I have Paul Oakenfold and his great compilations 'Tranceport' and 'A Voyage Into Trance' to thank for really getting me into the genre. Another early favorite trance act of mine was Nu Nrg, especially the song 'Butterfly'.
Sounds Like: tech house, but really anything from techno, house, deep house, electro, trance, psy trance, minimal, etc.
