I had a hero once, someone I looked up to, and wished I was like. He is very much dead now, and I look back on where I was, and where he was, and I'm not all that sure I want to be anything like him at all. I realized people are just people and they all fuck up somewhere along the line, so you can really learn something from every one you run into, since there must be a reason you ran into them in the first place. So take away what you can from the relationships you make, don't wish they wouldn't end, just be happy they were as long as they were.
