My profession is "writer," but for some reason I have a hard time describing myself in these little internet profiles, and am often dissatisfied with the results. Maybe my friends will help me out by posting in the comments section.

I currently reside in the tower of my castle. (That sounds a lot more royal than saying I live in a 5th-floor walk-up tenement apartment, which is closer to the truth.)
I'm usually pretty warm, generous, and outgoing, but sometimes dark moods roll in like thunderclouds, and I retreat.
I can be violent, but only with consent.
Lots of things in this world make me happy, but some things seem to capture me: lovely people of all genders, old abandoned buildings, junk stores with drawers of ephemera, big black leather boots, people who dress like thrift-shop cowboys, museums, libraries with vaulted ceilings, farm animals, flowers, big rocky hills with trees on them, Asian grocery stores.
I particularly admire people who are brave enough to look deep inside themselves, see something that needs to change - no matter how small or gigantic - and work toward making that change, even if it's risky or scary.
