Hello! My name is Nico, I'm a foreign student from Tahiti (French Polynesia). I came in California in Summer 2003. The first question people ask me is why did you leave this tropical island? It's true, it looks like paradise and it is but when you live all your life on a small island (you go around the island in 2 hours),you feel like you need some change. I needed to experience a new lifestyle, it's a drastic change but I met so many cool and different people here, there is so much to do, to see... I was lucky to travel in places that changed me forever. Born in Casablanca (Morocco), I live in Tahiti, Senegal, United States (Los Angeles and Salt Lake City but I'd rather forget the last one...), France. I visited New Zealand several times as well as Hawaii, Fiji and Japan. My first language is French, I learned English and a little Spanish at school...I try to be as much open-minded as I can, difference is good and essential in this world. When I feel down, you could see me in the water, bodyboarding and relaxing, it is my second passion after music, respecting the ocean and becoming one with mother nature helps me being stress-free. I love Japanese animation, I grew up on Dragon Ball Z, Akira, Ninja Scroll, Escaflowne... I grew up in Los Angeles, stayed there 4 years, met wonderful friends and studied at Santa Monica College.. I have LITTLE respect for the U.S government and its involvment in our world today; Luckily the Americans I know are not a representation of the government; thus, they are making big changes!!! I might come back to the U.S one day, but not in the immediate future. I'm back in Tahiti, surfing beautiful waves in a clean water, eating healthy. I'm waiting to transfer to Sydney (Australia)to finish my studies in Communication.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
