About Me

I am 40 years old and live in Nashville, TN with my incredible wife Liz. I have two great daughters Ashli 23 and Chelsea 20. As of August 4th I have an awesome grandson named Camden Braxton and and another on the way. Ok man that makes me sound old!!I have been traveling and singing fulltime in the Southern Gospel industry for nine years now and love what I do. After years on the road in seperate groups Liz and I started McMillan & Life in February of 07. As you can imagine the seperate busses every week gets real old! What a blesing to not only be able to what we love to do but to be able to do it with the ones we love.My life has taken me all accross this country both living and singing but I love living in the south especially Nashville more than anywhere. HOWEVER!!!! that is not to say that I don"t LOVE Chicago and New York!!DISCLAIMER!!! My Interests

Bum Squeezer - Good Music, Good Movies, Good Friends and of cousre GOOD FOOD

I'd like to meet:

The founding fathers of our country and get this argument about their spiritual motivations and intesions settled once and for all!!

Music:

I love all kinds of music but Gospel is by far my favorite. Country would come a close second because I grew up listening to it and so of my life events relate back to a favorite song. But like I said I love all kinds of music and I think it is the language of the soul.

Movies:

That is a hard one. There are so many that I love but I will say that I like a happy ending. Happy doesn't always mean perfect or dreamlike but it means you come away uplifted.

Television:

I would have to say Oprah. Though I may not always agree with her philosophies, I feel she truly uses her gifts, means and yes power to help improve the lives of others.

Books:

Patti's Pearls by Patti Labelle. It is a collection of inspirational thoughts and sayings the she has lived and proven true. It has had a truly amazing impact on my life and next to the Bible it has in it's few pages had more impact on me than any other book I've read.

Heroes:

I have come to believe that heros are for fairytales and dreams. Though I may look up to some folks I know the only one to never let me down is my heavenly Father.
