I'd like to meet:
You know, to tell you the truth, a lot of the people I really wanted to meet in life have already passed away. I always wanted to meet Howard and Vestal Goodman. The whole Happy Goodman Family clan played a huge role in shaping my vocal style. So many of our legends have gone on. But, I guess it's up to us, the new generation of Southern Gospel music to carry on the prestige that the ones before us carried so well.
Music:
The Dunaways,The Perrys, Happy Goodmans, The Original Hinsons,just about all Southern Gospel,Classic Country,Rock,Funk, you name it. If it's music, I can find something I like about it!
Movies:
I love comedies. The STUPIDER the better! (Is stupider a word?) I also enjoy just about anything sci-fi. X-Men/Matrix sort of stuff. I enjoy a good horror movie now and then, but to me they are all so stupid these days with computer generated effects.
Television:
Discovery Channel, BBC America (I tell you, British comedies have got it all over American ones!)Food Network, Family Guy, King of Queens...Anything on TV Land! You just can't beat the old shows I grew up with. I also enjoy watching medical shows on Discovery health, the more gory the better. I could eat a plate of speghetti and watch brain surgery.
Books:
Bible, anything Max Lucado,I also like comic collections like Calvin and Hobbes and Far Side
Heroes:
My Mom and Dad.
