About Me

I live for music. I plan on making a career out of giving guitar lessons. I hope to write a lot of different types of music and get them recorded so that people can enjoy them, if only a fraction of the amount that I do. I hope to make many innovations and hopefully contribute to the development of music focusing mainly on the guitar. I also hope to bring my guitar playing to new levels until the unfortunate day that I die and music is no longer with me.I lived in a very small town until I moved to a college town for school. I am open minded and love to talk about music and life. I daydream a lot. I have a weird, but good sense of humor.

My Interests

My biggest passion is definitely music. I really love the arts. I have played guitar for over 12 years and love to compose and improvise. I of course love to listen to music. I also can't live without seeing live music.I also really enjoy nature: traveling, hiking, looking at the sky, clouds, sunsets and sunrises, and stars at night.

I'd like to meet:

All of the incredible musicians that I have not yet met. I would also like to meet lots of different people that I can learn and benefit from. And hopefully they can benefit from knowing me! And of course all of you cute ladies out there that like to party, love music, or have an interesting personality.

Music:

I appreciate every genre of music. Unlike most people that say this, I actually mean this. However, I usually like to change up the genre I'm listening to. I tend to like the more creative and original musicians of any given genre. I grew up listening to rock, and I would say that it is still my favorite and I listen to it the most. I like every style of rock whether it be really heavy or lighter. I prefer for it to be a mix. Or I just listen to Mr. Bungle and get a great mix of all the genres. I also REALLY love Guns N' Roses, Green Day, Tool, and The Band of 5 Cyborgs sent from an alternate universe to confuse, baffle, enlighten, and piss off humans known as Dream Theater. Some composers that arouse me (musically you sicko) include John Cage, J.S. Bach, George Crumb, Smetana, Beethoven, W.A. Mozart, Mendelssohn, Debussy, Shostakovich, Tchaikovsky, Brahms and Schoenberg. Weird Al rocks. Richard Cheese is cool. Brad Paisley, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, and the Beatles. I better stop now or this will go on for a long time!!!

Movies:

Favorites: Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey The Matrix The Goonies The Saw movies Crossroads (Steve Vai and Ralph Macchio---not the Britney Spears one) o.k. fine that one too Dirty Work! Adam Sandler movies, Jim Carey movies. Comedies and mysteries. I actually used to like romantic movies but that seems to have changed after a bad relationship. I guess I still like them???

Television:

Married...with Children, Beavis and Butthead, and FAMILY GUY!!! I used to really like Get Smart and Saved by the Bell. Anything musical, I don't really watch T.V. much.

Books:

Unfortunatly I have trouble reading because I can't focus enough to read anything. Even if I am really interested in the subject, I will just zone out and never get anything read. I really think I have A.D.D. or A.A.D.D. Wait... what was I talking about?

Heroes:

Regi Wooten, Slash, John Petrucci, Steve Vai, Tool, Dream Theater, Hugh Hefner, and so many more it would be hard to name.
