How’s your world spinning these days?

About Me

FeverKing has evolved quickly since its formation at the beginning of 2005. The early demos from Pat Ford and Will Hall have evolved again after previous incarnations of the band and even experimentation with an eight-piece choir! But their ability to write instantly recognisable songs together was the start. The harmonies, the melodies and the presence of more than one lead singer are an asset. Pats rhythm guitar and Wills solid bass accompany their vocals with ease. They had the plan. The goal was to play to as many people that would listen and be entertained. They just needed the right people to complete the circle. Chas Bowerman on lead guitar brought a unique style that encompasses blues, rock and his trademark effects-laden layering of the bands sound. With the timely arrival of a new drummer and vocalist, Al Hutton, the band was now fully-formed and on the same page. Al inspired a stronger, more imaginative backing, pushing the songs into new areas and locking in with the rolling bass playing of Will. FeverKing are constantly diversifying and producing original material, from heartfelt acoustic songs (Houdini) to psychedelic space jams (Fairground) and relentless rock (So This Is Love).............. The plan is working. FeverKing have already been play-listed on BBC Southern Counties and Spirit FM (covering the South of England), Lush Radio (Leicester), and CISM (Montreal, Canada). 2005 has also seen the bands debut UK tour, starting in January and still going, playing at venues from Leeds to London, Bristol to Cambridge, and back home to the South Coast. Offers of shows in the USA, Canada + Norway have been made. The word is spreading................................................... ............................................................ ............................................................ ...............................Previous FeverKing shows have been played and enjoyed at The WaterRats (London), Marquee (London) with 'We Are Scientists', Barfly (Birmingham), Fleece&Firkin (Bristol), Night+Day Cafe (Manchester), Dublin Castle (London), Carling Bar Academy (London), ULU (London), Concorde 2 (Brighton), BorderLine (London) and Cardiff Barfly (Wales) amongst many others ............................................................ ............................................................ ............................................................ ...........................Some of the tunes above were taken from the sessions at Stanbridge Farm Studios in Feb 2006.
