New live CD has arrived!

About Me

Musicatmars is the music of Mars Hill Bible Church in Grand Rapids, MI. When we come together as a church each Sunday, we sing, pray, meditate, do readings. . .anything that helps us connect with our Creator and offer our lives to His dream for the planet. These are holy experiences. Some weeks are completely focused on the Almighty God and His eternal power, while other weeks help us look into our own souls. Some experiences are built around a text from scripture that we meditate on and read together, while others respond to a story of something God is currently doing in our community. Some times we are somber and hushed, while other times the amps get turned up to eleven. There are so many different sides to God, and so many different kinds of people, and we are interested in exploring as many ways to honestly move toward Him as possible.
Mars Hill Bible Church ( mhbcmi.org ) is a community of people, planted by the teaching of Rob Bell ( nooma.com ) in 1999, committed to honestly studying the text and actively living out our love for God and people.

another band you must hear

okay, what would happen if you plugged the quirk of indie-rock into the power of stadium rock? what would happen if you could mix driving passion with good taste? and what if four guys from Grand Ra...
