What They’re About: T-ran and 22Visionz, is a Christian group desiring to help influence, mold, and shape young people to become free from the chains of today’s negative lifestyles. Our unique combination of Hip-hop, Pop and R&B, Rock and Jazz attracts and draws a wide variety of people from all walks of life to its uplifting lyrics and message. Their musical foundation stems from styles such as Contemporary Christian, Gospel and Christian Worship to get our positive message out. The name 22Visionz derives from Proverbs 22:1, which says, “a good name is worth more than silver and gold.†Their are more than just a band with the title of “Christian.†Like T-ran say, "WE’re not just a name, we are a Vision. We hope to truly be a light in this dark world for this and many generations to come. " Their group is not only musically motivated to inspire the youth of today but rather consider themselves a multi-facet ministry combining prayer ministries, ministry team, music production, fashion artists and any other ways to reach out to the save and unsave. They do not put God in a box, rather use talents he has given them as a means to help other become successful in their own ways as they continue to minister, encourage, and influence positive living. God has blessed T-ran and 22Visionz beyond measure in its short life as a ministry. Two of their members sang and shared the stage backing up Shania Twain during her song "God Bless the Child" during one of her stops on tour. The Group has opened in concert for the Crab Family and Kirk Franklin and shared the same stage with groups such as Chris Tomlin and Natalie Grant at J-Fest in Chattanooga. They were honored to sing for Camp Agape of Cleveland, TN and the N.F.L .football camp sponsored by Angels in Flight Inc. They were given the pleasure of joining Lee University’s campus pastor Jimmy Harper on T.B.N. as well as singing on the Babbie Mason TV show in Atlanta, GA, Channel Nine T.V. show Good Moring Don and Channel Three T.V. Show Trends on Three in Chattanooga. They were also very privileged to be the first Christian group to sing before the 33 senators in Nashville, TN. Through all their God given accomplishments, T-ran and 22Visionz has been recognized for its positive influences within several newspapers and magazines such as Lee University newspaper "Clarion", "Chattanooga Times Free Press" in 2001, The Cover on the "Bradley News" in Cleveland,Tn 2006, and "Church Of God Evangel" 2007 May issue. After becoming established in 1996, They joined with Angels in Flight Inc., which is a non-profit organization that helps disadvantaged children and provides a positive influence to them through many different means. The founders of the group are Russell, Terri and Terran(T-ran) Gilbert which all have a heart and passion to provide every person they meet with the skills necessary to succeed in life through prayer, support, and encouragement.
