ELP Collective

About Me

ELP Collective is a record label owned by established label/ artist manager & producer, Olly Chubb. The label is an outlet for forward thinking techno influenced drum & bass. The primary essence of Collective is the cross-over between Techno and Drum & Bass providing the scene with some of the most cutting-edge sounds available.
Background Info:
Collective is a subsidiary label of ELP; a record company which deals with over 50 top labels spanning a wide variety of genres and sounds. However, the core of the company is techno and the artist roster reflects this with names such as Adam Beyer, Marco Carola, Jesper Dahlback, Cari Lekebusch, Cirez D all playing a major part.
Olly, the Collective label manager, comes from a different background. Originally from South London, Olly was into the jungle / drum'n'bass scene from an early age and spent his teens in and around rave scene. After getting a job at Prime Distribution, the largest techno distributor at the time, he began to realise similarities between the two genres and found a new music passion for techno.
After nearly 5+ years of being involved heavily in both scenes, and starting work for ELP, Olly decided it was time to put his ideas and passions into a musical outlet - the Collective was born.
Because of our unique position, in the middle of both scenes, we are able to bridge the gap between drum'n'bass and techno, amalgamating sounds and bringing artists together that otherwise would not have crossed paths. This is something we will continue to do, with remixes, collaborations and a few special surprises along the way!
The artist picked for the label have been done so carefully, and have all brought something individual to the label.
