Trancend (Lino Narvaez) born 1975 in Brooklyn, New York, resides currently in Florida. His strong passion for music began at 9 years old and is still going strong. Being of Puerto Rican and Italian descent he was classically trained in guitar and keyboards in Puerto Rico. He later formed a local rock group called Futuro. He was influenced heavily by all the big 80's rock bands at the time. Later in his life when he moved to Florida, he fell in love with the dance craze going on in Miami and Orlando. He then started following the Trance movement and was influenced by Moby, Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto, Van Buuren, and Oakenfold, and many others. Trancend began to dj during 1992 in Tampa and later expanded across the country such as New York, Washington, Orlando, and Miami. Coming back from a succesful tour in Barbados, Amsterdam, and England he has been slowly but surely finishing up his artist album. His bass heavy rhythms combined with pure melodic finesse are captivating. Trancend is a hard-hitting, up-and-comer on the scene and is quickly rising in popularity with his style. The influences in his life show in his productions which have a nice mix of the hard hitters of trance. Now residing in Tampa, he looks to expand nationally with his sound once the album is finished.
You will be able to find Lino playing at the Amsterdam Dance event this year in Amsterdam. There will also be a west coast tour in the works for the later part of the year or the begining of 2009.
