Notoriety Films

Notoriety Films began in 2003 when partners Jeremy Marrow and Matt "Fairbanks" Tom met at school. That summer they spent countless hours filming random short films and music videos. Today, Notoriety Films has taken a more focused role in independent film production. With the addition of writer Bryan "B.K." Knowles in the summer of 2006 the group has been looking into producing more professional short films, and music videos. As a high school film student, writer/director/cinematographer/editor Jeremy Marrow is trained in professional video production through the Bellevue High School college level NEVAC film program, and the Bellevue Community College film/video program. With access to Avid Xpress Pro, Final Cut Pro HD and professional filming/lighting/audio equipment, including a Canon XH-A1 HD camera, Notoriety Films is able to produce professional quality projects of all types. A recent Notoriety Films production was one of twelve finalists out of nearly 250 entries in the Seattle Times Three Minutes of Fame Contest, won first place at the Northwest High School Film Festival for dramatic narritive, and was screened at the Seattle International Film Festival and the Freemont Outdoor Movies. As of now, Notoriety Films is preparing for two more short films, and two music videos. Currently we are looking for funding to go towards video equipment to aid in our upcoming productions.
