About Me

Howdy howdy! My names Michael, I live here in Tulsa, Oklahoma and went to college at the University of Tulsa for a couple years, so that's one of my hang-out spots. I'm a pretty easy-going guy and consider myself to be fun-loving, and carefree. Also, I like to consider myself an extremely good friend and listener, and I maintain that when someone has a problem, they can come and talk to me about anything (aka, nonjudgemental). Something particularly interesting/unique about me is my vehicle. It's a 1957 Ford 300 Custom (red, of course). That was my 16th birthday gift. :-D That would be one of my hobbies (cars that is). I'm also into books/fantasy/series, computers, gaming, and music. I've been playing the French Horn for about ten years now, so I consider myself fairly proficient at it. :) Of late, I haven't been doing a whole lot other than working; but I'm always looking for stuff to do. My Interests

Books, Computers, Video Games, RPG's, Arcades, Listening to Music, Playing Music, Art, Foreign/Exotic places, Cooking, Fine Dining, Alcohol, Smoking Accessories, Fine Wines, Massaging, Asian/Japanese Cuisine, Anima/Manga (not die hard however), Pool, Frisbee, Bowling, and a few other things that I can't think of right now.

I'd like to meet:

I like to meet interesting people whenever possible. So someone intrigueing (don't be shy) would be ideal for me. Someone that's easy-going and knows how to have fun.

Music:

I listen to a good mix of just about everything. Oldies, Classic Rock, Rock, Punk, Grunge, Ska, Metal, etc. What I DON'T get along with is ALL Gospel, and most country.To be a little more specific, the bands that go around the top of my list include: Green Day, Offspring, NOFX, Stone Temple Pilots, Weezer, Oasis, Foo Fighters, Garbage, No Doubt, Allanis Morisette, TaTu, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Wierd Al, Stabbing Westward, Crash Test Dummies, Sublime, Soundgarden, Radiohead, Bush, Pantera, and some others that I can't think of off the top of my head.

Movies:

I like most movies. Not a huge fan of sappy/drama or horror specifically, but sometimes I'll find a good one that I can sit down to. My favorite movies of all time are Grosse Pointe Blank, Pulp Fiction, Willy Wonka, Labyrinth... my mind is blank right now... anyway, there are some pretty good ones out there.

Television:

I don't watch a whole lot of TV. I'm a big fan of adult swim however. The simpsons are always a classic, I'm a bit of a trekkie... I've watched other stuff over the years, but I'm not in the mindset to remember it all right now.

Books:

I mostly read fantasy series books. Authors and their series would include off of my shelf: R.A.Salvatore ~ Drizzt do'Urden books: Katherin Kerr ~ Dun Deverry and the Westlands: Robert Jordan ~ Wheel of Time: Terry Goodkind ~ Sword of Truth: Weiss & Hickman ~ DragonLance: Raymond E. Feist ~ Riftwar Saga: Elizabeth Haydon ~ Symphony of the Ages: David Eddings ~ The Belgariad and The Mallorean:...plus a few others here and there.

Heroes:

My older brother would be my hero. I got to watch him make a shitload of mistakes, so I learned what NOT to do at an early age. Thanks bro. :)
