Welcome Home Sgt.Ed!!

About Me

Hi and welcome to my page.... I am Terri, a dedicated single mom, support our troops advocate and founder of Project Yellow Ribbon. I have one child still at home. She graduates this year then off to college! (Pre-empty nest syndrome) My troop support efforts started nearly 4 years ago after my sons first deployment to Iraq. We have since then merged with Operation Adopt a Soldier and we have events to raise funds and awareness, send packages to the troops serving in the middle east and a variety of other services. For more information you can visit our websites at www.operationadoptasoldier.com or www.operationadoptasoldier.com/yr. If you are a deployed service member and would like to be on our list for care packages, please contact me. Please keep all our troops in your thoughts and prayers.. "Till they all come home."
Congratulations SARA!!! Way to go!!

I'd like to meet:

Don't Wait for HolidaysListening to patriotic songs, with tears in my eyes. But I'll stand proud, because freedom is on the rise. Our men and women, sacrifice their lives. So you and I, can make wal-mart buys. The things we take for granted, were paid for with their blood.Lets never forget those who gave, while dying in the mud.Lonely are we, at home we wait. Praying for their safety, not knowing their fate.Giving in, is not their creed. For our freedom, they will die and bleed. So if you know, someone who served. Give them the respect, they so richly deserve. And if you are wondering, by the way. You don't have to wait, for a patriotic holiday.Bruce Rhodes USAF Vet
