Well, I figured it was time to change this up a little bit. First off, my name is Katie and I'm 24-years-old. I have two beautiful children who are my life and my priority. Without them, I would not be who I am today. My son, Jalin, is almost 7. He changed my life in so many ways, and I'm so lucky to have him. My daughter, Makenna, is 18 months. She came into my life at a time when I needed something to pull my through the rough times...she was that something. She is my princess, no matter how naughty she may be sometimes. She is a mini version of me in so many ways. My fiancee's name is Jonathon. We have been together about 2 years, and we got engaged on Christmas of 2007. He is a god sent for me...he had done so much for me, and with me, and I can't wait to enjoy my future with him. *I love you babe* Other than that, I am currently job hunting. I have a job, just sick of it. I graduated in December of 2007 with a Double Bachelor's Degree. One is in Sociology, with a minor in Earth Science, the other a Human Services degree, my emphasis being in Law Enforcement/Probation. I was a reserve police officer for about 2 1/2 to 3 years. It was interesting, and I really enjoyed it, but unfortunately I found my time was limited as it is, and priorities came first. In August I intend to move to Minnesota to continue my education at the University of Minnesota, studying Biological Sciences. I have wanted to live there since I was little, and now I finally get my chance. I may end up hating it, and come back to South Dakota, but at least I can say I tried. I'm really well rounded as far as my interests go. I love to be with my friends and family. Quality time is indispensible. I enjoy camping, fishing, hunting (which I did for the first time last year), computers, games, and many, many other things. Jon got me into hockey when I met him, and I must admit, it's AWESOME. I love it. Nothing can beat a live hockey game. Our team...the MINNESOTA WILD! (of course) Love 'em.

I love spending time with Jalin and Makenna, Jon, my friends, and my family. I also love to play soccer, dance, party, science (astronomy, geology, volcanology, forensics), music, movies, shooting, going to movies, GOING TO HOCKEY GAMES, and just hanging out. I love having a good time, especially when I'm with people who know how to have fun. I HATE PESSIMISTS AND PEOPLE WHO ARE CONSTANTLY MAD AT THE WORLD!

I'd like to meet:

I would have liked to meet JFK, Martin Luther King Jr, and Abraham Lincoln. I would love to meet some of my favorite celebs (Angelina Jolie, Johnny Depp, the CSI Vegas cast, etc.) but I would LOVE to meet the Minnesota Wild team. Even just one would be awesome =) I love to meet new people, and make new friends.

Music:

I am really well rounded when it comes to music. I like everything from oldies to rock, especially if it can be danced to. There isn't much music I don't like, however, there is some.

Movies:

I love to watch movies. Some of my favorites are Dirty Dancing, Grease, Crash, Goonies, Independence Day, MIB, Volcano, Dantes Peak, and SO many others.

Television:

I don't get to watch much TV because of my lack of time. However, my number one favorite show to watch is CSI: Las Vegas. I also like CSI: Miami and Law and Order. I like a lot of forensics shows (48 hours, Crime 360) and game shows. I love to watch hockey, as well. I like to watch comedians, like Dane Cook and the Blue Collar Comendy Tour. I also like American Idol, King of the Hill, Family Guy, and pretty much anything on TLC. I usually, however, only get to watch Tom and Jerry and Spongebob instead. =)

Books:

I love to read, but finding the time is a major task! I like more true stories than anything else. The most I get to read lately, though, is magazines.

Heroes:

My heroes are my parents. They have both been through so much in there lifetime, and have supported and loved me through everything I have done. I have never had to worry about their love for me, and though I have been through rough times, and they have always stood by me and my choices. My children are also hereos to me. They have brought me to a whole new level in my life I never could have dreamed of.
