Welcome to my little corner of MySpace. Contrary to what the photo might lead you to believe, I am not actually a member of the band Megadeth. I am however just knowledgeable enough about Photoshop to be dangerous and Megadeth just happens to be one of my favorite bands.
I love music, especially old hard rock and heavy metal. It all started back in 1983 when I first heard Photograph by Def Leppard. At the time I was into mellower rock and new wave music. Something about Def Leppard’s Pyromania album really drew me in and soon after I bought Quiet Riot’s Metal Health. Next thing I knew, I was buying records (yes, records) by Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, AC/DC, Krokus, Scorpions, Dokken, Helix, and so on and I never looked back. After a few years I started getting into the heavier stuff. I started with Anthrax and moved on to Megadeth, Metallica, Metal Church, Slayer, Testament, and the list goes on and on. I still love the music of my youth but my tastes have certainly diversified over the years.
I’m also a big fan of movies. You can see a few of my favorites over on the left side of the page. I have a wide variety of tastes and can usually find something to like in most films. In addition to “good” films, I am a closet aficionado of cheesy disaster films of all kinds. Thanks to DVD, I have probably seen a few thousand movies over the past several years from old classics to modern blockbusters.
