About Me

I am Dan,

I think that beauty can be found in everything, and it is our responsibility to look for it.

My favourite concept is infinity.

I often feel like I have no answers to even the most rudimentary questions.

I swear I am not a dirty hippy.

My Interests

Partying, getting drunk, chemical experimentation, Raves, Festivals, Travel, reading, Tao, smoking weed, watching sopranos and Star trek, dancing like a fool, I excercise on a semi regular basis, I love to cook, going on road trips, meeting foreigners(the good kind), basically music soothes my mind. Playing Go! Browsing Wikipedia - I swear that thing has taught me more in 8 months than 15 years of schooling. I did like politics, but it's all a bit much don't you think?

I'd like to meet:

I love to meet new people. So any one I guess. Thome Yorke, David Bowie or Josh Homme would be particular treats. Trent Reznor as well but I don't think we would have much to talk about.

Music:

Radiohead, four tet, the album leaf, Sigur ros, Bruce Springsteen, jay-z, David bowie, Dj Shadow, Qbert, Rolling stones, Nine Inch Nails, RATPACK!!! the Eels, Brian Ferry and Roxy Music, Mark Lanegan, Queens of the stone age, Eagles of death metal, NATHAN FAKE! and anything border community related, Libertines and a bit of babyshambles.
More recently Drum and Bass. Lots and lots of loud, loud drum and bass. I'm not a fan of dub step though, which seems to be making it big these days, a bit too slow to dance too.

Television:

Star Trek, Sopranos, Southpark, Simpsons, earlier family guy, Jam, I watch anything. The TV is one of the most underrated and misused mediums ever!

Books:

Zen and the art of motocycle maintenance - Robert M Pirsig. Siddharta - Herman Hesse. Steppenwolf - Herman Hesse.

New years resolutions

1. To reappraise my views on topical 'green' issues, that have become some what unattractively right wing. Done, sort of, as in I dont get annoyed about it, and know that being 'green' is good in and ...
