A girls gotta dance! Music is my life! If singing poorly doesn't count, then dance is how I express myself through music. So top favorite things to do or enjoy: live music, dance, wine and cheese, theater, books, spending quality time with friends, meeting people who are passionate about something and hearing their story, cheese and wine, learning new things, being spontaneous, travel, bargain shopping, cooking (but it all depends on the kitchen), wine and cheese, famous/inspirational quotes, outdoor festivals, nice people, francais, cheese and wine.
John Cusack. Actually I'd like to marry John. I would love to meet everyone else. I love meeting new people. However, all of my Friends on MySpace are people I have actually met in real life or somehow know, so please don't be offended if I don't know you and therefore ignore your friend request. If you really want to be my friend please send a message and say why.
Everything. Or 90% of everything. Seriously.
I do enjoy movies but rarely see them. Kinda goes along with the no TV thing. Although watching a movie would be the most worthy excuse for turning a Television set on. The last movies I saw in the theater were Into the Wild and The Bothersome Man (awesome!). I just discovered this super cool theater in PDX called Your Living Room, which is like a ritzier version of Austin's Alamo Drafthouse + Boise's The Flicks rolled into one. WooHoo! I'll be enjoying a lot more film + wine in the near future!
I no longer own a TV. When handed a remote I will select news programs in languages I don't understand. If someone else turns the darn thing on...then I am glued. Which is why I don't watch, my time on earth would waste away and grow thin... like an Olsen twin.
I love to read! In the realm of fiction I prefer spy novels, suspense/thrillers, love stories and chick lit. I love to learn about new things so I tend to roam the library non-fiction shelves aimlessly until something strikes my fancy. Usually really dorky stuff like soapmaking, grammar, space theories or philosophy. It's good to know a little about a lot! Right now I am reading about sound engineering, the cosmic history of the universe(finished) and Erasmus' The Praise of Folly, with a couple girly love stories, a friend's screenplay and some comedic short stories thrown in for good measure. I just finished Wally Lamb's "I Know This Much Is True" WOW!
Audrey Hepburn, my brother, my inner child, passionate people, everyone who has lent a helping hand over the years - too many to list, The Little Engine That Could!
