About Me

I am a Christian in progress. I feel fairly new in my spiritual journey. I go to Calvary church. I just got married to my awesome husband Jeff on May 21st 2005. Besides my husband we have a dog named Helmutt, a cat named Kittypie, and a fish with no name but has been referred to as demon fish since he kills any fish we put in the tank.------Demon Fish is no longer with us. Feb 18-I haven't updated this in awhile. Me & my husband are having a baby. I am due July 16 2005. We are having a girl and her name will be Aaliyah (after the singer) which means the highest, most exalted one, the best. We are so excited to become parents. It is scary also. We are very blessed! Aaliyah was born July 15th 6 lbs 3 oz. 20 in. long. She is a very good baby who likes to smile and make funny faces.

Music:

I love all kinds of music. Metal, rap, reggae, country, alternative, opera. My favorites are the Beatles, System of a Down, Madonna, Staind, Aaliyah, Jeremy Camp, Prince, Beastie Boys, Gwar, Earth Wind and Fire, Tom Jones, Tim McGraw, Cher, Van Halen (Diamond Dave), NIN, Chris Isaac. I am sure there are more but that's all that I can think of now.

Movies:

Anything Vin Diesel but Pitch Black is my all time favorite. Nightmare before Xmas, Lost Highway, Showgirls, Clockwork Orange, Gone with the Wind, This is Spinal Tap, Independence Day. I love horror movies. Event Horizon, Hellraiser, The Grudge.

Television:

HGTV all day/all night, Project Runway, Wrestling, Survivor. I really like the new show Jericho and I can't get enough of Deal or No Deal. I loved Temptation Island when it was on. Occassionally watch American Idol but I have a low tolerance for people who can't sing. I stopped watching American Idol once Chris Daughtry was voted off and I am highly disappointed that Tyler won. Don't know if will watch the next one.

Books:

I am now reading Checklists for Life for Moms. It is great! I am also reading Keeping the Books for our new business. Also The Bible. I like horror books. Stephen King, Clive Barker, John Saul. I also like house decorating books and I have tons of wedding books/magazines. I am starting a collection of baby books since I am a new mom!

Heroes:

Jesus, I can't think of anyone who would go through what he did for me. I strive to be like him.
