oh.....BITCHSTICKS!

About Me

Let's just get one thing clear. If your priorities in life consist of Paris Hilton or footie we're definitely not going to click. Au revoir, you're missing nothing. Read on if you're not the white stiletto-wearing or Stella Artois-slurping architype.Yes, I'm probably a pretentious weirdo in some people's books. In my opinion those books are not worth being mentioned in at all - rub me out! Blame my bizarre childhood if you must, virtually no telly and instead being raised with lots of camping out by yourself, writing plays, poetry + stories, painting imaginary things and snapping whatever tickled my fancy with my camera. I look back fondly on those days, they made me who I am. In fact I haven't really changed much except that I'm (slightly) more mature and 6ft 3.So yeah, having no real interests in making vast sums of money in some towering skyscraper must make me a freak. If I can't use the gifts I know I've got then quite frankly I don't see much point in being around. Was never the sporty boy, if god had wanted me to play rugby then he'd have given me a rhino horn instead of a nose and monster truck wheels instead of feet. Life without words, music and being able to stop and look at things in a slightly different way is unthinkable for me. So to be called bizarre is technically a compliment, I can't think of anything more terrifying than waking up in an ordinary suburban semi, driving past an ordinary cul-de-sac in an ordinary hatchback to an ordinary dead-end job involving files, desks and "shudders" numbers. No, that life isn't for me. Just don't think I'm arrogant.I've been told that I was probably born in the wrong century and I'd be better off in medieval times as a minstrel or whatever enjoying the simplicity back then. Truth be told I'd probably have been burnt as a witch! I am slightly strange, in the humourous, harmless type of way! I put on silly voices. A lot. In fact i'm taking the piss out of you right now, your voice is all squeaky like Minnie Mouse. So if like me you're finding it hard to comprehend why the latest gossip of Strictly Come Dancing is considered of more importance and value than 1000's of beautiful animals becoming extinct (fear not...i'm not a REAL hippy!)then do add/message me. Its nice chatting to interesting people with some sense of perspective, especially if you're a complete & utter stranger, it means I can pretend to be someone normal...for 5 minutes before it fades away and my true, gloriously monstrously decadently zany side emerges. Enjoy it!Ballad of Maxwell Demon

My Interests

I love words. Thinking them, writing them, using them. Whether it be for songs, sentences or scripts I'm happiest with a pen in my hand, keeping the cogs in my head spinning. I'm constantly fighting a losing battle to keep engaged, much as I love reading I take everything in too fast sometimes to actually enjoy it, my ideas jump from one tangent to another. What I'm hoping is that I can use my love of words, perhaps my strong opinions of art, war, fashion, society and film to keep me grounded and also busy, that way I can be happy but also passionate. So if you've ever an event that needs reviewing, a project that needs ideas, a film that needs dialogue or a space that simply needs words filled in it, give me a call.As well as all the above, I love meeting new people and exploring new places, preferably both at the same time. Unusual characters (a wee bit similar to me) tend to grab my attention and although I don't really believe that there is one perfect person out there for you, anyone with a sense of adventure and something stirring in their eyes I'll always at least want to talk to.My Saggitarian wanderlust constantly keeps me on the move, whether I like it or not I feel almost doomed to keep travelling, keep meeting, keep exploring. The grass will forever be greener on the other side of the next fence, I just wish I could buy all the fields and make them into one. Books, film, fashion and photography help me along my journey. What keeps you along yours?
