V Rocks --The band V formed, as most things often do, almost accidentally. The front woman, Victoria, had been writing, recording and playing thru out NYC for a few years - In that time she had been doing shows once a month at Don Hills called Bitch Night - It was a good way to get her feet wet and also an instant plug into the NYC musician world - It was during one of these many shows she did that she came in contact with her amazing female guitarist, Josette.Josette is a NY/NJ based guitarist who has traveled the world over touring with countless bands and always conjuring up the double take; not only is she strikingly beautiful, she can shred like the greats. Josette and Victoria performed a few times together and parted ways, but in the spring of 2007 they joined forces again to start playing in what would soon become the rock band known as 'V'When it came time to fill out the rest of the band, Victoria did something she has never done before and has yet to ever attempt after, she put an add up on the list of Craig - aka. Craigs List... Thru this she came in contact with many musicians, met with a few, but one in particular stood out - Not only did Joey Casella have a strong work ethic, he came into the rehearsal very poised and knew the music cold - He was the right man for the job and he has become the technical genius and glue that every band needs.The band found it's drummer thru their new bassist - the two had been in bands together previously, and after working together so well in other situations, it seemed like a no brainer to see how things went. Kevin Walters is a very talented and most of the time topless drummer who has incredible body coordination - Watching him behind his kit is awe inspiring.Last, but certainly not least, we came across our 2nd guitarist very naturally. While at practice we all agreed that the sound really needed 2 guitars to make the songs work, and Victoria asked all the members if they had any guitarists they recommended, and in unison, both Joey and Kevin said "Kyle Walters" - Apparently the Walters family is very musically inclined, because next week at practice an extremely talented, enthusiastic and sweet as the day is long guitarist came into the room, ready to work and play and they have been a solid group ever since.After playing out in NYC for over a year, the band is anticipating branching out - traveling to other cities and states and will do everything in their power to thoroughly rock your faces off!!!!Rock on.
