About Me

Well let's see, where do I start? Hmmmmm. I am called the Voice Man because of this unusual ability to duplicate, imitate, impersonate (or whatever words you wish to you use) many voices ranging from celebrities to TV show, animated, and a few movie characters as well as people around me. In my life, I've talked like former teachers in high school and college, friends, colleagues, both current and former. In short, I never know whose voice I'm likely to pick up. I love to be in areas where I can utilize this talent. Singing Karaoke is one. I do the Devil Went Down to Georgia in 3 different voices. Among the many I've done, I take pride in being able to talk like the entire cast of the Dukes of Hazzard. I am a big time Dukes fan and I've had the honor and prestige of meeting all the surviving cast members and they've all heard me do their voices. A friend and I like to do the theme of the Dukes at karaoke. He sings the songs and I talk like the characters during the musical interludes. I also love to do voices on my job as well as some places where it's unexpected like getting my order taken at a restaurant. I'm hoping to get back into some community theater acting. Anyway, I'm 34 years old. I was raised in Chattanooga Tennessee in the scenic city. I am a disc jockey and program director for 2 community AM radio stations in a pair of small towns outside the Chattanooga area. We play country, both modern and classic, and we take requests and try to play as many of the requests called in as much as we can. My hobbies are mostly unique since I'm a performer. Always have been. It's in the blood. I love being outdoors on a warm, and very clear day, like we have in the spring or fall. That's the kind of weather where I love to remove the T Tops from the Camaro and go for a spin. I love summer, but not if it's too hot, and I am not winter person unless there's full coverage of snow on the ground. Food wise, I am a carnivore all the way. I love my protein. Steak is my all time favorite food in the world and every Friday night, I love to go out and eat steak somewhere. Otherwise, I also love chicken, fish, and barbecue ribs. Along with a limited selection of vegetables, and a salad and some water, that's my diet. The only desserts I can have must be either sugar free, no sugar added and flavored with Splenda. I have a solid black cat who is indoors and is declawed in the front. His name is the Spectre. I always wanted to have a black cat with a spooky name. As a voice impressionist, it is my goal to become one of if not THE Most Sought After Voice Over in America. Someday, I'll get there. In person, I am very shy. It takes me a little while to warm up to someone new when it comes to face to face contact. But when I do, chatting is easy. It's easier for me to chat with someone while I'm on the radio or on the phone, or even online. That's my one area of weakness. When it comes to humor, I believe in having a good sense of humor. I like people who love to laugh, tell jokes, and cut up with others. I firmly believe that laughter is indeed the best medicine.

My Interests

Voice Impressions. Being in places where I can use that ability like: Karaoke Radio Show. Acting I also enjoy regular singing, drawing, swimming, traveling and vacations when time and money allow. I love tropical areas like Florida and I hope to visit Hawaii eventually. I love the Carribbean. Awesome place!!

I'd like to meet:

Victoria Principal more than anybody and any of the cast members from Dallas. Adam West, Lee Majors, Lindsay Wagner, Paul Michael Glaser, David Soul. Would have loved to have met Bill Bixby, Michael Landon, and Christopher Reeve had they lived a little longer.

Music:

It actually depends on if I hear it and if I like it. But for a better answer, mostly 80's soft rock and some country. Some film scores and instrumentals. I can tell you what I hate better. Rap and Hip Hop. I don't think so. Homey don't play that. It would take a while before I can divulge who I like in the way of music.

Movies:

I primarily like funny movies, from gut busting comdies like the American Pie trilogy to romantic comedies like Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers to ridiculous parodies like Mel Brooks movies to the Naked Gun trilogy ( or any damn thing with Leslie Nielsen in it). I also love comic book adapted movies like Batman, Superman, SpiderMan, the Hulk, Fantasic Four, X Men movies,, you get the idea. My top favorite of those movies is currently Batman Begins. My favorite suspense thriller is "Duel" a 1971 TV movie directed by Stephen Spielberg and starring the late Dennis Weaver as a businessman terrorized on the road by an 18 wheeler whose driver is never seen. I like horror movies that are about haunted houses and ghosts. No blood and guts. The only thing close to those movies I like are the Scary Movie parodies. For particular actors, I like to see movies with Adam Sandler and Jim Carrey (provided they're funny). Tom Hanks, Robin Williams, Queen Latifa, and there are others I can't think of at this time. For sci fi, I enjoy a good Star Wars, Star Trek, or Planet of the Apes film, though I am not a fan of either of the three.

Television:

I mostly love older TV shows. Primarily from the 1970's, along with classics from the 50's and 60's and some 80's. Maybe a couple of 90's. but that's it. I have one all time favorite: THE INCREDIBLE HULK: 1978-1982. Bill Bixby was my childhood hero and I've had the pleasure of meeting Lou Ferrigno several times The one show that is a close second, but ought to be number one is: THE DUKES OF HAZZARD: I've met the entire surviving cast and they've heard me do all their voices. Yes, even Daisy. That's a tough voice to do for a guy!! Whew! The last of the top three: DALLAS: My other favorites: THE SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN: STARSKY AND HUTCH, THE BIONIC WOMAN, WONDER WOMAN, CHiPs, HAPPY DAYS, THE GREATEST AMERICAN HERO, THE A TEAM, KNIGHT RIDER, THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW, THE COSBY SHOW, FAMILY TIES, LEAVE IT TO BEAVER, THE BRADY BUNCH, BEVERLY HILLS 90210 (What can I say, I liked Jennie Garth), SUPERMAN (1950'S SHOW) BATMAN (ADAM WEST SHOW) SHAZAM, THE SECRETS OF ISIS, LOIS AND CLARK, And only one modern show on TV SMALLVILE. I HATE reality TV with a fierce bloody passion! You couldn't pay me money or offer me any bribe to watch that mega crap!!

Heroes:

Bill Bixby: My childhood idol and role model. Lou Ferrigno, Adam West, Lee Majors, Tom Wopat, John Schneider, Patrick Duffy
