----------------------------------------------------------A Little bit about Chicago and John Schneider! -------As most of you know who look at my pictures and bulletins, I along with my boyfriend Johnny went to see Chicago The Musical on The Great White Way last friday. Lemme tell you, WHAT A NIGHT! From beginning to end it was amazing. I enjoyed it so much that I still haven't gotten it outta my system.John Schneider as Billy Flynn, lemme tell you, he ripped that part open and made it his own. And anyone who doesn't believe me? Well come up to NYC and see it for yourself because that man has such a stage pressence and a set a pipes that give you chills. He's amazingly talanted and a beautiful person inside and out.I seriously believe that John Schneider is a rare celebrity that uses the celebrity that he obtained from doing The Dukes Of Hazzard for a GOOD cause not like a lot of the celebs we read about today in the papers. John Schneider really is a rare gem in a celebrity world of opaque, oblivious and as John says as Billy Flynn in Chicago "Phoney Celebrity".A lot of these so called "stars" today need to take a lesson from John Schneider. He's the rare man that has had a sustained influence on people young and old. Also, being as he has kids of his own, knows how to be a father and celebrity. He balances the two magnificently. He does all that with such a finess that not many other celebs I've seen can do.This is coming from someone who has been privledged enough to meet this wonderful man twice in the last two years. He doesn't forget the fans that got him to where he is now. Unlike a lot of the celebs I've seen he very happily talks with you as an equal, stands out in the cold and signs autographs and has such a pressence while you're with him, it just makes you smile from ear to ear because he is a one of a kind man that we need more of.Going to see Chicago last Friday and knowing the story from seeing it on the screen, and hearing a few of the songs throughout my life, I was very VERY impressed last Friday when it started. The actress' and actors that they picked for Velma Kelly, Roxie Heart, Mary Sunshine, the 6 murdresses of Murders Row were amazing, and the stage show makes you feel a tad more so sorry for what Roxie does to Amos throughout the show. The cast that they have on broadway right now I believe should do their own Cast CD of the show, becuase the way they all mesh so well together, I would most deffinately listen to that album more so than the soundtrack to the movie. The movie was fantastic don't get me wrong but they leave a few things out that were in the stage show that I never even knew about. Anyway, I must say this to everyone, anyone who hasn't seen Chicago I suggest coming up to New York City to see Chicago while John Schneider is still in it because he is the BEST Billy Flynn I've seen EVER! And I'm not just saying that because I've met him, I'm saying it because he makes the Character of Billy Flynn his own and really is an amazing person to watch while he's on stage.I hope all of you will get the chance to see him in Chicago, and if not I suggest going to DukesFest that is going to be happening in Atlanta, Georgia June 28-29th this year! 30 years everyone, that's how long it's been since The General Lee made it's first "flight".In closing, I have to say this, and all my friends would agree, John Schneider is by far the most Sweetest, Kindest, Loveliest person anyone could ever want to meet. He's no "phoney" that's for sure and he will always continue to be a genuine and beautiful man who I'm privledged to say I've met and understand why so many people love him.________________________________________________________
__Dukes of Hazzard - Warner Announces DVD Release with Both Reunion TV-Movies
The General Lee Rides Again this June
Posted by David Lambert
2/20/2008
Yeee-haaa! We were the first to tell you a dang long time ago - last October! - that both post-series Dukes of Hazzard telefilms would be coming to DVD this Summer. Now Warner Home Video has gone and made it official, announcing a June 10th release of The Dukes of Hazzard - 2 TV Movie Collection. It features the 1997 production The Dukes of Hazzard: Reunion! on one DVD, and the 2000 production he Dukes of Hazzard: Hazzard in Hollywood on a second DVD. Here's what the studio says about these:
What's more fun than 10 in the tank and four on the floor? Tom Wopat, John Schneider, Catherine Bach and more of your Dukes of Hazzard favorites together again!
In Reunion!, folks come home to Hazzard and discover a plot to turn Hazzard Swamp into a theme park...leaving the swamp critters high and dry. Before you can say wait a durn minute, the cousins are back in the General Lee, tearing up the roads to stop the nefarious scheme.
Then they head west for Hazzard in Hollywood and a big-time recording deal. It turns out the deal includes a Russian mobster, a sultry songstress from the 'hood, and a beautiful blonde vice'mayor with the hots for Enos.
Double the Dukes - double the down home fun!
Cost is $24.98 SRP, for 178 minutes running time. Video is full frame, as originally shown on TV, and ditto for audio presented in English - Mono.

ST $$$ EVER PAID FOR A 69 CHARGER!!!No friends, "Bo's General Lee" didn't sell for 10 million dollars... But he did
fetch more than any other car of its kind EVER!!! Good stuff huh?The Friday and Saturday that Elly, myself, Allen and Victor spent at the Barrett-
Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, was fantastic! Beautiful cars and car
folks everywhere and we were treated like family. For the first time in a very
long time, I was nervous about going on stage! After all, I was about to part
with a friend I'd had for a very long time. You can see it all from the inside
out when "Bo's Last Ride With Bo" is finished! I'll take you on a final ride in
my favorite car on the streets of old Hazzard (California) and right up on the
auction block in Scottsdale! You will have a once in a lifetime seat right next
to me through the process! I expect to be finished editing the DVD in February.
(Pre-Order with Allen to make sure you get it first!)"Chicago" is going very vell. There's nothing like live theater to get your
blood pumping (well... Selling your car on TV in front of millions does that pretty
darn well!). The music is great, the cast delightful. Come see me if you get a
chance. Ambassador Theater on Broadway. Shows every day but Wednesday.Watch for "Ogre" and "Shark Swarm" and, of course more episodes of "Nip/ Tuck"
and HBO's "Twelve Miles of Bad Road". Then there's "H20 Extreme", "For Christ's
Sake", "Gods of Circumstance" and even a movie where I play the devil who has a
TV publicity campaign! All kinds of movies and TV coming up! Keep an eye to the internet, the TV Guide
and right here to find out when and where they will be on.I am in a car traveling to the airport in Scottsdale right now. Heading back to
New York to do Chicago tonight and haven't had much sleep. Wish me luck!See you in the movies! Thanks again for helping to keep "Bo's General Lee" a car
so famous that it has become THE MOST EXPENSIVE 1969 CHARGER IN THE WORLD!!!John
