About Me

Summary of my self? Hmmm... Well, I'm very eclectic. For instance, in High School I used to hang out with all the "stoner" or "metal heads" or whatever you wanna call them, however I never did any drugs. I was also in FFA and captain of the Dairy Judging team. Yes, I used to judge dairy cows at different competitions and even went to dairy judging "school". So, bcs of the FFA and Ag. classes, I was also friends with quite a few of "red necks". Then I was friends with the "nerds" and "geeks" bcs I was in all of the Honors classes. I'm also the type of person to stop traffic to get a turtle out of the middle of the road (yes, I have done that).
You're a punk rock mommy! DIY is probably your
motto, because you're a punk mama at heart.
Your kids are getting your independent spirit
and guts, and learning to solve problems
themselves. You love it when they show their
independence, even when it's breaking your
heart.

What type of partier are you? Your Result: The Lurker

You like to go out and party, go to bars, concerts, etc - but stay more on the sidelines. You and part of the action, but people have to approach you more than you jumping into the middle of the action. You typically don't get 'hammered', just buzzed enough to come out of your shell and talk to a few people, usually other 'lurkers'. Large groups of people talking at once intimidate you and you tend to drift away from the pack often.

My Interests

all kinds of stuff.. Well, everybody else has a list of stuff in this section. I suppose I'll be a sheep and make a list, too. My little monkey, my fuzzy monkeys, calling everything monkey, BOOKS, Magic the Gathering, school, microbiology, friends, computers, grande caramel frappacinos, zombies, dead people, volunteering, anthropology, museums, nature, archaeology, movies ... I'll add more later

I'd like to meet:

a person? .. is that the right answer? I'm not really sure what else I would be using this thing for.

Music:

I have very eclectic musical tastes. If you go through my blog you will figure that out. ... I actually have bought a few CD's lately (well, when I had money to do so). I got Coldplay & Racanteurs. I was sooo happy, I recently found my long lost Beastie Boys License to Ill CD. I currently have Seether in my car CD player, that's getting ready to be replaced by The Pixies. I also woke up the other night with Wheatus playing in my head and it's been stuck there ever since. ... I like just about anything so long as it's not country or rap. Actually, I can even tolerate some country, it reminds me of a lot of my family. :oP But rap? I don't think that should even be classified as music. ... Let's add some new music to my list. Korpiklaani Rocks!!! You definately can't go wrong with a Finnish, metal, folk band. Mago de Oz is AWESOME!!! Spanish, metal (savatage-ish), with a Celtic twist. hmmm ... I think I'll actually list some stuff now. SAVATAGE, Megadeth, Flogging Molly, Rob Zombie, Pennywise, Social Distortion, Rise Against, Children of Bodom, Tracy Chapman, Fleetwood Mac, Nirvana, The Cure, Rancid, Mithril, Lela Downs, Anoushka Shankar, Krishna Das, CCR. ... I'm bored now, I'll write more later.

Movies:

Anything with Orlando Bloom.... and Zombies! :o) There needs to be a movie with Orlando Bloom fighting zombies.... *Big Grin* ... Then there'd be no more need for porn!!! :*) ... My movie collection consists mainly of horror and old B movies. I have a ton of Bela Lugosi movies, however no Dracula. I LOVE Rob Zombie's movies!!! Both House of 1000 Corpses AND Devil's Rejects. I also have quite a few 80's flicks. Afterall, that is what I grew up on. Lost Boys is the best vampire movie EVER. ... Dogma Rocks!!! Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Cannibal the Musical, Shaun of the Dead, and Invader Zim also get played quite frequently in my abode. I also find foreign films and historical dramas to be quite intellectually stimulating, but I also found 28 Days Later to be intellectually stimulating as well. I don't usually do chick flicks. I don't consider crying a form of entertainment. ... V for Vendetta should be watched by everyone!!!!

Television:

TV is the devil!!!

Books:

Anything by Richard Preston. I'm also shamed to admit it, but I like Harry Potter, too. I usually go through phases with my reading material. I must admit that I'm a book addict. I own a Barnes & Noble discount card and it is totally worth it to me. I read everything (accept romance). I have cookbooks, sewing books, text books, lots of books on microbiological issues, true crime, most of my fiction consists of horror, peppered with a little bit of sci-fi and fantasy. I've also been into the books on CD lately. I make lots of trips between Milton & Tampa.
