About Me

Ha, well...if you're reading this, you most likely already know me quite well but if not, here's a short summary for ya....born in NYC to a Hispanic mom and Middle Eastern dad (that's right, a bona-fide MUTT, lol), grew up in Queens, switched schools to Long Island, moved to Turkey, finished junior high in a British International school on the Asian half of Istanbul, started high school in an American International school on the European half of Istanbul, moved back to NY, finished HS in Roslyn, lived 4 years and graduated from the University of Chicago, and now currently living and working in midtown Atlanta... WHEW! And where are you from? =)
Sounds overwhelming, but I gotta say...I've been EXTREMELY fortunate to have gone to so many different places in my short 24 years in this world, seen and done a LOT of things and made good friends with people from all races, religions and nationalities. Some people never get to do things like that their entire lives, but by age 17 I already had those notches in my belt, and it's definitely shaped the person I am today.
Over the years of doing all of this, I've learned many things about the nature of people, and how to tell a good person from a troubled one. I'm lucky enough to have met a few really good people so far here in the ATL, and I never judge a book by its cover, but I've learned to give trust only to those who've earned it. I keep my groups small and simple, and I'll give each person within all my loyalty and honesty until the day I die, and they're the same way. I've learned that forgiveness has its place, and so does walking away from destructive people. It's just not worth it in the end. Too much partying to do!!
But like I said, if you're reading this, we probably already know one another so it's all good. And if we don't, then I always look forward to chilling so cheers to you!

My Interests

Music, guitars (14 and counting), high-gain tube amplifiers, effects, weightlifting, bodybuilding, pool, concerts, standup comedy, long talks that span countless topics, loud thunderstorms, greasy food at 3AM, sleeping in late, barhopping, beautiful & intelligent women, video bowling, any kind of blue liquor, amber beers, Macallan 12-year, nifty electronic gadgets I'll probably use twice but must own anyway, speeding in parking garages, dogs of any breed, NY-style pizza, nachos and wings, fine cigars and ultra light cigarettes. I'm also strangely drawn to shiny objects, things that light up, and buttons you can press....

I'd like to meet:

Old friends from good days gone by, new friends to share a pitcher and pizza pie ;)

Music:

Everything from Abba to Zwan, but loud hard rock with catchy guitar riffs and melodic leads is my sweet nectar. If it's interesting with a fresh sound, I'll pick up anything in whatever genre. Remember kids, variety is the spliff of life

Books:

Michael Crichton, Chuck Palahniuk, Stephen King and Bill Watterson...Also like to keep up with the newest bodybuilding mags to come closer to my ultimate goal of drawing the moon to earth through my own sheer gravitation

Heroes:

Ronnie Coleman, Dimebag Darrell, Paul Teutul Jr & Sr, James Hetfield, John Mearsheimer, Niccolo Machiavelli, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen... basically anyone and everyone whom I've learned something valuable from at any point in my life.
