Love Poetry (Ginsberg, Sexton, Plath, Cummings, Bukowski, Corso, etc. etc.), Vinyl, Vintage, Latin American History, and Books.

I love the Beatles, and even though I'm not the fanatic that I was in high school, I think there'll always be a place in my heart for Weezer. Anything jazz or big band style -- Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey, Les Brown, Billie Holiday, etc. Right now I am a big FAT hippie and listening to a lot of Elton John, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, The Yardbirds, Joni Mitchell, The Lovin' Spoonful, Cat Stevens, and James Taylor. I heart LED ZEPPELIN, Dave Matthews Band, Rilo Kiley, American Analog Set, The Doors, Yo La Tengo, The Shins, Belle and Sebastian, Iron and Wine, The Strokes, Ok Go, the Von Bondies, Modest Mouse, Gorillaz, Eisley, Now It's Overhead, Decemberists, People in Planes, Radiohead, Nirvana, Pixies, Grandaddy, T.Rex, the Faint...etc. I really enjoy classical, and Rachmaninov is my favorite ever. I love TATU, N.E.R.D., TUPAC, DJ Dangermouse and Cee Lo (and Gnarls Barkley, by association), Snoop DOGG, Ice Cube, Jay-Z, THE GAME, T.I., Mr. Capone-E, Twista, Akon, and Pharrel as well. So there.

LOVE Zombie movies. Shaun of the Dead, Dawn of the Dead, 28 Days Later, etc. The Triplets of Belleville, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, High Fidelity, Kill Bill (vol. 1 and 2), KISS KISS BANG BANG, Sin City, The Princess Bride, Amelie, A Very Long Engagement, The Royal Tenenbaums, V for Vendetta, Dogtown and Z-boys, Lords of Dogtown, Howl's Moving Castle, Steamboy (or anything Studio Ghibli) Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, Closer, Love Actually, etc. etc...

Also love Cocteau, Genet, Shakespeare, Kurt Vonnegut Jr. (Welcome to the Monkey House--so good!). And Battle Royale!! By Koushun Takami! Franny and Zooey (Salinger), anything by Chuck Palanhiuk (Choke, Fight Club, Lullabye, Survivor). I also love the Sherlock Holmes mysteries by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
