Riverside, we are a band from west Jakarta, Indonesia. The band was formed back in 2006 when Roie and Amir and Adek met after a few contacts by email and telephone. The trio then had a serious chat and after a little while they decided to give starting a band another try. Not long a friend of roie's, Santang joins the club as a drummer and naufi as bassist, which leaves roie in guitar, Amir in keyboard, and adek in vocal. But after a few session Adek left the band due to some not to be exposed reasons. And the vocal position was doubled for a while by Roie, At this time Riverside was already starting to begin their recording sessions. In late 2006 Naufi finally left the band, also for some not to be exposed reasons. And the band was left without a bassist. But the recording went on. And early in 2007 Ferdinand finally joined the club as the lead vocal, and as the months went on Almanzo joined the band as a bassist. And not long after Riverside completed their recording session and their debut demo cd was finally ready, the bend participated in a number of festivals and event around Jakarta and also went on stage at the SOUNDRENALIN 2007 in Palembang. Currently this band is still producing their cds, Spreading them like disease, to every school, university, and the general public. The band is also trying its luck by going to record labels and trying to attain their trust. We are currently undergoing process of contract with Musica Records Indonesia for ringbacktones. Doubt is a serious issue when you're dealing about the continuity and future prospect of a band, but life is a struggle, TO MAKE IT IS TO BEAR IT, we fight on.
