The thread she weaves takes on many forms and flavours depending on how she feels when she wakes in the morning – shape shifting to become poet, writer, songstress … the incantations are endless.
An elusive creature at times, Stephie spends her days darting back and forth between the gritty city of Brisvegas (where her various musical alter egos run riot with the temptations of funk and a bit of rowdy ska) and the open spaces of Central Australia where she runs music recording/songwriting workshops with students on remote communities (a passion that has taken her from Arrente country deep into the heart of Ngaanyatjarra lands.)
Forever collecting fragments of stories along the way, these ‘travellations’ are combined in Stephie's secret underground laboratory to create strange yet sweet therapeutic potions to sooth even the most embittered soul.
