About Me

BIO
Kiera Plan vocalist/guitarist Shawn O’Brien and drummer John Collier started making their energetic brand of powerpop in 2005. Their recent collaborations with producer Vince Ratti (Zolof the Rock and Roll Destroyer/Valencia/The Minor Times), “Tell Rachel I’m Sorry” and "It Only Takes One," show that this is a band with serious potential. With a Ratti produced full-length slated to drop in 2008, the Kiera Plan have a lot more fun and excitement on the way.

7/11/08 Back In Business (Studio Journal: Day Four & Five)

Day Four After a long and eventful hiatus, I was psyched to be back in the studio, and with 7 days scheduled in the next 3 weeks, I'm hoping that we'll completely finish tracking the album in that tim...

6/03/08 Weezer

I've only listened to the first seven tracks so far, but I'm already confident in saying that this latest record is the best Weezer album in 12 years.  I'm lovin' it.  Fun and feeling a...

5/27/08 Dude, you have to really want to message somebody!

I know it's been a while since I've been on MySpace, but since when did you have to translate a secret code to write a message?!  That's bananas.  Dude, you have to really want to message so...

5/26/08 The Foundation (Studio Journal: Day Two & Three)

What's up, everybody?!  This one's a little belated.  We were back in the studio a couple weekends ago (May 10th and 11th), to finish laying the foundation for the album.  John finished...

4/19/08 Our album goes to eleven

I know we kinda disappeared there for a minute, but I'm back with good news.  John and I just finalized the tracklist for the album!  There will be eleven songs in all, and I can't wait to p...

3/04/08 Sneakiness

2/12/08 Decisions, Decisions

The tough thing for John and I right now is choosing the last few songs to record for the album.  If neither time nor money was a factor, then we'd be happy to record way more songs than we ...
