About Me

We came together in April 2006 but didn't do anything much until October when we finalised our line up. Since then we've played all over South Wales and have gained some attention from the area. We got signed to Party House Records in March and will be releasing an E.P through them at some point next year. For now though, we've self released the 'You only live once' e.p, which is avalible at all shows.
In the past 9 months we've played a load of shows, from opening at a tiny conservative club, to headling newport tj's. Among the shows we've played with some awesome bands, such as - JESSE JAMES, FANDANGLE, KENISIA, ONCE OVER, THE DISPLAY TEAM (MUMRAH), FREEFALL FELIX.
We're not a band that goes for the best look, or the most popular sound. We're as we come. Just a buncha average guys who love playing music and having the best time ever whilst doing so. We're not interested in the scene. If we're talking about it, we'll be laughing at it. We're all playing the type of music we grew up listening too. Fun, happy, and full of spirit.
If you're interested in booking us for a gig please message us on here. We never turn down a gig unless members can't make it. We don't feel we're too good to play anywhere, as long as there's gonna be at 1 person there. It's one more brick in the wall.
At the end of the day its a good laugh but we are determined to become successful. Come along to our gigs, skank with us and let us know what you think.

They've got the brass, the off-beat drumming and they're, as they put it, fun, happy, and full of spirit. The native Welsh band, Detatched, show potential and flair in their early works. Keeping six rowdy [and I say rowdy because of the group shouting in 'Party'] guys all in time with each is a challenge, especially at such a fast pace, with your vocalist cramming as many lyrics as he can into each second as if his life depended on it [which sorta connects with the title of the track I'm refering to 'You Only Live Once'], but they achieve it whilst still keeping a fluidity to the music they create. Add in lightning fast guitar riffs and a brass section that adds a strength and texture and lend a certain punchiness to the rhythm and you've got a good recipe for quality music. All in all, keep up the good work boys
