Bubba's Country Music
Country music, also known as country and western music or country-western, is an amalgam of popular musical forms found in the Southern United States.
It has roots in traditional folk music, Celtic music, blues, gospel music, and old-time music and evolved rapidly in the 1920s.
The term country music began to be widely applied in the 1940s and was fully embraced in the 1970s, while country and western declined in use.

Country Label Picks Pickler
On Monday Kellie Pickler became the fourth season-five finalist to sign a recording contract, inking a deal with Sony BMG's Nashville-based country label BNA Records and Idol producer Simon Fuller's 19 Recordings Limited. Her first single should hit country radio stations sometime in September and her debut album will follow Nov. 14, the same release date that has been set for Katharine McPhee and Idol winner Taylor Hicks' freshman efforts.This marks the first time Idol finalists have shared a release date.
