About Me

Oh how fun, the "about me" essay. I've been in Los Angeles for a little over two years now, and crazy as it may sound, I quite like it here. I moved here after 6 years in New York, with a pit-stop in London in the middle. I'm bright, quirky, witty, and possibly wise. I love to cook, and now that I have a little bit of yard, I've discovered the joys of slow smoking food. I rather like traveling, live music, walking (urban and nature), reading, political/social discussions with open minded people, drinks and dive bars (oh how I miss the subway- getting home is terrible here), karaoke, films, dancing...I have an adorable little Italian Greyhound named Lucy. She's wicked awesome. She gives hugs like a person!I'm very good at starting, and finishing, long projects. Right now I'm working on seeing the Sharks play at every NHL arena, and reading biographies of all the U.S. Presidents. The Sharks project involves my whole family, the biography thing is pretty much only amusing for me, in a nerdalishish way.Fun Fact: If a good song plays over the speaker when I'm grocery shopping, I will sing along. How can you resist the theme song of "The Greatest American Hero"? Impossible.

My Interests

acting, singing, cooking, traveling at home and abroad, old friends and new ones, dive bars, learning, music, movies, games such as trivial pursuit, hockey (Go Sharks!), baseball, laughter- love the laughter, talking politics (with those I agree and disagree with).
