Computers are interesting. Particularly the internet. It does things to us. We are changed irrevocably as a race, as a species because of it. It has changed the way we interact with others, and changed the way we see ourselves. If I have a friend I saw 4 or 5 times a week, and also talked to online most days, I am communicating with two different people, and so are they. We can say whatever we want online, talk to whoever we want, whenever we want to. There are no limitations, nothing. We can use the internet as a mask to hide ourselves, presenting a character or someone we wish we were to the world. We can use the internet to remove the masks we show the physical world, baring truths about ourselves and being more honest to strangers than we are to anyone else... ourself included. Why do you instant message your lover, who is only two rooms over? To send a URL? Because you don't want to get up? Because instead of Sara and Michael talking, you're SunLver and XMenGrwlz, and those are 4 different people? Online, you are not who you are in the real world.
... probably not you, to be completely honest.
I like a lot of different things. I tend to like foreign rock, weird stuff, more than some of the crap I hear on the radio these days. Nightwish... glory-operarock... I'm a fan of classical and romantic periods. Particularly Brahms and Chopin. Something about their music just makes me feel so alive...
