Nicci Star

Hi and thank you for checking out my profile!I have been singing since I was about 6 years old. Had my first performance at primary when I sang the lead vocal in a rendition of the Jungle Book. Through out primary and High School was picked to and chose to perform in every show/competition there was.After completing a Btec National diploma in Popular Music in 2002 I began to take music serious, as a result of the positive feedback I received for my writing & performing skills, I also learnt the basics of production and I could go into most studios and build a track from scratch with just a little assistance.I have since performed in numerous clubs in central London since 2001 with great feed back, and she have had her material critically aclaimed by A & Rs of major UK labels. This was very encouraging (which you could imagine).The tracks above are just samples of my work, a support the message I want to bring to the music industry - "This is me" explains quite a bit about my personality, and "I just met you" explains how I have felt before (and I'm sure u to) and how I feel you should conduct yourself in that scenario. My sound is fun, intersting, makes you wanna dance, powerful, with street emotion. I want my music to be listened to by everyone from little kids to grannys and for neither to be offended or led astray, empowered and entertained.There is a lot of negative music about and Nicci Star is a light in a dark industry.God Bless you xxxxx
