Bio
As a man dedicated to art, Taylan Yilmaz was introduced to music at a young age and has been expressing himself with music ever since. Aside of being a musician he is an art graduate from MSU Art Academy. His painting skills have been appreciated by art society since the age of ten and his illustrations and paintings have been published by major and wellknown comicbooks and magazines in Turkey so far.
However music has always been the real passion for Taylan and he wanted to discover and be a part of this great atmosphere. He played various instruments with many local bands until 1998 and later that year he met Techno. He started to spin in some of the most prestigious clubs as a resident DJ. With his unique style of mixing and new world sound, he established a reputation in a remarkably short period of time.
In 2003, he performed on the closing night of Phonem, a music festival that guides todays techno concept in Istanbul and he became one of the leaders of this concept by performing an outstanding show with Chris Liebing and Monika Kruse.
Later on, Taylan played in many festivals and shared the same stage with Dave Clarke, Umek, Percy X, Gaetano Parisio, Stanny Franssen, Valentino Kanzyani, Justin Berkovi etc.
In year 2004, he started his own club Auf, where he hosted and played with some of the biggest names such as Bruno Pronsato, Savas Pascalidis, Bangkok Impact, Stephan Sieber, Rennie Pilgrem and many more
In 2006 Auf came to an end. Since then he has been focusing only on music production and painting.
